I am replacing an 8 year old Badger 5, so this was an easy fix. My last one started leaking out bottom. I don’t blame it for how hard my water is in NE Ohio. When running water and turning on (as per directions) the sound level is a normal garbage disposal level. It does the job! I hope this one lasts a good 8 plus years also but I did fill out registration just incase. :-)

My disposal went out in my kitchen sink, started leaking water in several spots through the bottom so time for a replacement. I got the same brand for easibility, but upgraded to the 1/2hp, so it would be a quick plug and play. And it was exactly that, took about 15-20 mins to swap them out and we were back in business. No leaks and it is much quieter than the last one.

Be sure to remove the plug from the unit if you have a dishwasher….
